We met you at a farmers market, street festival, or art show and introduced you to our handcrafted soaps and skin salves. But more than that, we shared the Gaia Blends story and you became a part of it. Thanks for coming back to see us – it’s great to have you here.

Our Story

For years, our family made this simple, yet innovative salve recipe that provided superior healing and protective attributes for all our skins needs. We are proud that Gaia Blends Skin Salve is made with only organic food grade ingredients. With the encouragement of some friends we set up a small table at the local farmers market and began handing out samples. The response was amazing! Our community appreciated the benefits of our salves and our family owned business began.

Excited in our success, and inspired by members of the community, we next learned to make beeswax candles, and later cold processed soaps – all containing only wholesome food-grade and organic oils, butters, and beeswax. All of our salves, soaps, and candles are handcrafted in our home studio.

The summer of 2015 we packed our RV and took our business to Colorado for four months of street festivals and craft shows, from Downtown Denver’s 16th Street Mall to the boardwalk lined streets of Crested Butte. Our business blossomed in the new ground where it was planted, while we enjoyed exploring the region and making new friends.

The Gaia Blends story of business and travel continued as we relocated to Ocean Shores, Washington. We have enjoyed our adventures in the Pacific Northwest, participating in festivals and sightseeing along the coast and mountains. Our home studio has grown, with more shelves for an expanding selection of products – loofah soaps, shampoo & conditioner, massage oils, essential oil skin salves, and bath accessories.
